Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Quality Improvement (MERQ) is a private consulting firm established by a team of enthusiastic Ethiopian professionals with a mix of medical, public health, program evaluation, health care quality, and capacity building backgrounds.

Position: Supervisor / Qualitative Data Collector
Qualification
- Health and related field and advantageous if they have nutrition background
- Have adequate experience in qualitative data collection
- Age between 24 and 34
Personnel Allocation
- Supervisors: One per Woreda; total 14
- Team Composition: Each woreda will be staffed by one person (supervisor and 5 data collectors)
Duration of Assignment
- Supervisors: 12 days total, inclusive of travel.
- Data Collectors: Duration aligned with supervisor’s schedule.
Transportation
- MERQ will arrange vehicles, if vehicles are unavailable, transportation allowance will be provided.
Training and Preparation
- Supervisors:3–4 days Training of Trainers (TOT) in Addis Ababa.
- 2–3 days woreda-level training prior to data collection.
