Position 1: Accountant (Junior Position)

Job Summary:

The Branch Accountant serves as the financial custodian, ensuring 100% accurate transaction processing, daily reconciliations, and transparent reporting. The position supports team integration through morning huddles and delivers clear financial information to build member trust and eliminate service delays.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.

Experience:

  • 0 to 2 years of core accounting experience in financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all transactions, including savings, withdrawals, transfers, and loan repayments, with 100% accuracy and issue official receipts.
  • Perform real-time data entry into the ERP/Core Banking system.
  • Conduct daily bank and member account reconciliations to ensure audit readiness.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, trial balances, and performance reports.
  • Open and maintain member accounts and resolve inquiries professionally.
  • Educate members on Amigos’ financial products and digital services.
  • Proactively mobilize savings and deposits.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns and community outreach activities to recruit new members.

Position 2: Member Services Officer (Intermediate Position)

Job Summary:

The Member Services Officer manages the complete member journey from onboarding through retention with friction-free KYC compliance and proactive engagement. The position resolves grievances, cross-sells products, and bridges branch execution with district strategy to deliver exceptional member experiences.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cooperative Management, Marketing, Management, Accounting, or related business fields.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant customer-facing or front-office experience in financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new members, executing a complete welcome and orientation protocol.
  • Conduct rigorous verification and validation of member registration documents in compliance with KYC, AML, and national cooperative regulations.
  • Provide transparent explanations of member rights, obligations, and product details to build trust from day one.
  • Proactively manage the member lifecycle through structured engagement touchpoints to prevent account dormancy.
  • Identify member needs to cross-sell and up-sell Amigos’ financial products, including specialized savings, micro-investments, and asset financing.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for resolving member grievances and ensure issues are tracked and resolved within standardized service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate and promote localized member financial literacy programs.
  • Proactively address member concerns regarding information security and transactional safety through clear communication and education on internal controls and digital security.

Position 3: Loan Officer (Intermediate Position)

Job Summary:

The Loan Officer manages end-to-end loan underwriting, credit evaluation, and timely disbursement while maintaining portfolio quality. The position serves as a credit knowledge expert, drives rapid turnaround times, and collaborates with collection teams to minimize delinquency.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Management, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending operations, or customer credit management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit risk analysis, appraisals, and collateral evaluations for loan applications.
  • Manage the full loan lifecycle from disbursement to recovery.
  • Develop and execute strategies to onboard new members and grow institutional savings through field outreach, community programs, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor loan performance daily to identify early warning signs of default.
  • Implement immediate recovery or collection strategies when required.
  • Serve as the primary expert for members on financial literacy, loan options, and savings products.
  • Work collaboratively with Financial Mobilization, Finance, and Member Service teams to ensure a seamless one-stop experience for every member.

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is the strategic leader driving branch growth, team performance, and operational excellence. The position oversees loan portfolio expansion, deposit mobilization, and strict compliance while fostering a culture of trust and accountability through daily team alignment.

Qualification:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch operations.
  • Lead and develop staff.
  • Manage financial performance and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Foster strong member relationships.
