UNDP Vacancy Fresh Graduates 2025
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories supporting partner countries to achieve the eradication of poverty, the reduction of inequalities and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). More specifically, UNDP supports partner countries in developing policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and building resilience to sustain development results.
UNDP has operated in Ethiopia since 1981. Since then, UNDP has focused on providing Ethiopia with strategic support to build national capacity and enhance the country’s development results in the areas of poverty reduction and economic growth, democratic governance as well as climate-resilient development.
Position: Intern – Security (National Applicants Only)
Qualifications
Interns are selected on a competitive basis, and the following minimum qualifications are required:
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher) Or recently graduated with a first university degree (bachelor’s or equivalent), in social studies, International Relations, Police Science, or a related field is required and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
- Ability to work for 6 consecutive months.
- Interest in working on security
Languages
- Fluency in oral and written English and national language is required. Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset. (written and spoken)
