SBG Industry PLC was established in 2008 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and is currently engaged in the production of bottled water. Its debut product is called Arki Mineral Water produced on the highlands of Sululta 2620 meters above sea level.

Position: Junior Microbiologist

Required Education and Experience: –

• Bsc Degree in biology,microbiology or biochemistry Zero years’ experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to plan and execute experimental protocols.
• Excellent knowledge of microscopes, microbiological equipment, chemical samples, and gram staining stains.
• Excellent knowledge-how to perform/use microbiological analyses
• Excellent knowledge- how to use in microbiological instruments methodology, equipment and supplies. techniques,
• Excellent knowledge used in microbiological analyses techniques
• Keeps lab equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition.
• Performs testing in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations.
• Monitors, adjusts, creates and validates test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with food or beverage industry standards and regulations.
• Investigates abnormality related to microbiological test results
• Develop and maintain validation in all protocols for various environmental controls.
• Perform tests on component samples, identify any contamination, conduct an analysis and initiate corrective measures.
• Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials, intermediate (on-process) products and finished products after appropriate sterilization of media, instruments.
• Monitor all physiological and morphological characteristics and identify microorganisms.
• Perform other related duties as may required
