Position: Casher Accountant I

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BA/ Diploma/TVET Level IV in Accounting and Finance. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as cashier, data clerk and related position.
  • Very Good knowledge of Cashiers Responsibility 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skill is mandatory. 

The Casher Accountant is directly reporting to the Finance Director of the company. He/she is responsible for maintaining daily financial activity and accounting by verifying receipts/payments and other data as per the policy and procedures. 

Responsibilities

  • Handles customers’ requests properly. 
  • Prepare Cheque Properly and Settle Withholding based on Rule and Regulation
  • Manages the overall cash transaction at head office and business unit level. 
  • Opens & closes cash transactions on daily basis.
  • Keeps records of collections & payments regularly. 
  • Establishes and maintains cash controls and also prepares cash related reports. 
  • Prepares and provides with the necessary data (transaction list, payable schedules, audit confirmation letters etc) to both internal and external auditors. 
  • Prepares monthly income tax and pension (PF) returns and ensures timely  payments to the concerned authorities.
  • Manages petty cash as per the rules and procedures of the company.
  • Clear Bank Statement Every Month Be sure all are Settled
  • Declare ERCA Issue
  • Settle all collection on time and follow all Withholding Receipt Collected.
  • Performs other similar duties as and when assigned by immediate supervisor.
