Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Volunteer Service
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ethiopia is actively involved in volunteer service, particularly in preparation for hosting major events like the African Union Summit. They are currently calling for volunteers to assist with organizational activities related to the upcoming African Union Heads of State and Government Summit. This initiative aims to enhance the country’s image and ensure the successful execution of the event.Â
Position: Volunteer Service Ministry Of Foreign Affairs
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduated from an accredited institution in the 2016 and 2017 academic years and holds a first degree in any field of study.
- Graduation grade point average of 3.6 for men and 3.4 and above for women.
- Proficient in English, French, Arabic, or other working languages of the United Nations and the African Union.
- Ethiopian/Wit under 30 years of age.
Preparations are in progress to ensure the successful hosting of the African Union Summit in a way that upholds the dignity and reputation of our country. In this regard, we invite individuals who wish to serve their country through voluntary service to join our training program for volunteer protocol cadets. The program will cover areas such as welcoming and greeting guests, as well as assigning volunteers to various protocol responsibilities throughout the duration of the annual meeting.
