Little is a pan-African, everyday everything, app and one of Africa’s largest ride-hailing companies, serving cities across Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Zambia, Tanzania, and now Ethiopia. The Little app offers mobility, delivery, and payment solutions by connecting customers to drivers, enabling convenience and transparency for hundreds of thousands of consumers.

The Safaricom-backed ride-hailing app — which aims to rival Uber — first announced plans to expand into Ethiopia in June 2021, with then-Chief Executive Kamal Budhabhatti telling Business Daily it would invest Sh540m (£3.5m) in the next five years, with a further Sh540m anticipated depending on growth projections.

Position: Digital Marketing Specialist

Education: BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of proven experience in digital marketing or a related role.

Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads), content creation, SEO, and social media management.

Mindset: Creative, analytical, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, search engines, and display advertising platforms.
Create engaging content for social media, websites, and email marketing campaigns.
Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of general marketing principles, including branding, customer behavior, and market positioning.
Ability to integrate traditional marketing concepts with digital strategies to achieve overall business goals.
