Habesha Steel Mills PLC is looking for a dynamic and results-driven employees to drive business growth for our Steel Rebar products.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a DMS & QMS Documentation Officer. This role is central to our commitment to quality, requiring the successful candidate to draft technical documents that form the backbone of our Document Management System (DMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) projects. You will translate complex process knowledge into ISO-compliant documentation and support the integration of these systems based on ISO 9001 standards.
Position 1: Junior Electrical Engineer
Education
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and basic electrical safety.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word).

Position 2: Electrical Engineer
Education
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Electrical Engineer: Minimum of 3–6 years of experience, ideally in a steel mill or heavy manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
- Proven expertise in industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, and high-voltage power systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word).
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Position 3: Import Officer
Education: BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience specifically in import/export operations, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020.
- Proven experience with the Electronic Single Window (eSW) system.
- Familiarity with Ethiopian banking and customs procedures.
Competencies:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Position 4: Accountant
Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree/Sage, SAP, or ERP systems).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Solid understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Competencies:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Integrity and professional ethics.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Position 5: Fireman
Education: Diploma or Grade 12 completion; a technical certificate in Boiler Operations, Heat Treatment, or a related mechanical field is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in furnace firing or boiler operations within a manufacturing plant (steel or heavy industry preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial burners and fuel delivery systems.
- Ability to read and interpret temperature gauges and pressure meters.
Physical Stamina: Must be capable of working in high-heat environments and standing for extended periods during production shifts.
Aptitude: Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility regarding high-temperature equipment.

Position 6: IT Applications Executive
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Approximately 4 years of experience in IT applications, ERP support, or system administration.
Technical Proficiency: * Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) user support.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with business process automation.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the communication skills needed to translate user needs into functional solutions.

Position 7: Supply Chain Manager
Education: Master’s or BA Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the manufacturing or heavy industry sector.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced data analytics.
- Thorough knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, and Ethiopian maritime/customs laws.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and inventory control models.
Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a high level of commercial awareness.
- Outstanding negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
