Position 1: Business Development Intern

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate social science, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in business development, and consultancy services.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Excess Consulting PLC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support the company’s business development activities. The intern will gain practical experience in market research, proposal preparation, client engagement, and promotion of consulting services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying potential business and partnership opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, and Expression of interest
  • Assist in monitoring tender announcements and consultancy opportunities.
  • Map potential clients and sectors.

Support other operation of the company as needed

Contract Type: Internship (Temporary with possibility of full time based on performance)

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Business Development and Marketing officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MA in Marketing, project management, Business Administration, Economics, development studies, sociology or a related field.
  • Talented individual with zero years of experience
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent networking and partnership-building abilities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

The Business Development and Marketing Officer will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the growth of the company through effective marketing strategies and partnership development. The officer will play a key role in promoting the firm’s services, preparing proposals, and expanding the client base.

Duration of Employment: 1 year with possibility of extension

Location: Addis Ababa
