Ethio-Asia Industries S.C is Ethiopia’s first privately-owned manufacturer of personal care products, including soap and detergent, and the only native manufacturer with a nationally recognized brand. Ethio-Asian Industries SC, formerly known as East Africa Kality Soap and Detergent factory, is located in the heart of the capital at Kality, Addis Ababa.

The 1st private sector factory in soaps and detergents started by well-known industrialist and EAHSC chairman Mr. Bizuayehu Tadele to manufacture Laundry soaps, Detergents and Toilet soaps.

Position: Quality Control Analyst

Education: BSC/MSC in chemistry/ industrial chemistry/chemical engineering

Experience: 4/2 years out of which 2 years in soap /detergent factory

Responsibilities:

Ensures that standard operating procedures are developed to ensure product qualities are as per the specification set.
Ensures that procedures are carried out carefully and accurately to eliminate errors that will cause defects in quality
Ensure product quality by strictly supervising and conducting supplier process audit in their production process and management systems
Conduct customer visiting and provide awareness on our company procedures and standards
Executes finished product test methods. To ensure finished products are within specification and are without non-conformity before releasing the products to the finished goods warehouse.
Establishes good relations and communications with all members of the team and respond professionally and in a timely fashion to make mutual understanding in producing quality products.
Ensure that safety standards and cleanliness of the laboratory are maintained.
Writes deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses in a technical report and conduct investigation on questionable test results.
Prepares reagents which will be used for quality inspection using test methods.
Prepares periodic performance reports and submits to immediate supervisor.
