Junior Biomedical Engineer responsible for supporting installation, calibration, and routine maintenance of medical equipment; performing troubleshooting on diagnostic tools, neonatal monitoring systems, and maternal care devices; ensuring safety/efficiency standards; training clinical staff on equipment usage; and supporting research initiatives in maternal and child health.

Position: Junior Biomedical Engineer

Educational Requirements:

• A BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering, accompanied by one year of relevant work experience.
• A Level 4 qualification in Biomedical Technology, with three years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective communication.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Support medical equipment installation and routine maintenance.
• Perform basic calibration and troubleshooting of diagnostic tools.
• Ensure safety and efficiency standards across the facility.
• Maintain neonatal monitoring systems and maternal care devices.
• Train staff on safe equipment usage.
• Support research projects in maternal and child health.
