Amref Health Africa partners with the Government of Ethiopia and local communities to implement diversified health and WASH project portfolios throughout the country, focusing on three key programmatic areas: Reproductive Maternal, Neonatal, Child, Adolescent and Youth Health (RMNCAYH), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Communicable and Non-Communicable diseases. On August 2021, Amref has been awarded with a new USAID Integrated Youth Activity worth $60 million which will be implemented in 18 cities.

Amref is is the prime partner in the consortium of 15 partners (international IPs, local CSOs and private resource partners). project working on the five years Integrated youth Activity (IYA). IYA is implemented in all regions of Ethiopia and will provide holistic services (health, education economic support and other social and youth friendly services) for youth from 15-29 age groups.

Position: Archive and File Clerk

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in clerical, administrative, or archival roles.
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions independently
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, database management systems).
  • Familiarity with document management and archiving systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Specifics Responsibilities of the Assistant Disbursements Accountant

  • Arrange, Sort and file in a chronological order of finance documents with its references
  • Check financial documents for completeness, accuracy, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Provide all supporting documents to donors based on donor requirement (stamp donor specific logos, write the amount in donor currency attached banks statement for each payment.) for specific project which requires separate Audit.
  • Provide and scan WHT document, income tax, pension timely when request.
  • Provide and scan timely project documents (prepayment) based on request
  • collect bank transfer letters and deliver to the banks
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor
