ZamZam Bank Vacancy - Internship Program

ZamZam Bank S.C is the first bank licensed to operate as full-fledged Interest Free Bank in the country shouldering a huge responsibility for enhancing financial inclusion in Ethiopia.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our journey of sustainable growth and enhanced financial inclusion, especially for communities excluded from the financial system due to religious or other barriers.

Position: Internship Program

Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any Social and Natural Science field from a recognized higher education institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent.

Graduation Recentness: Graduated within the last three (3) calendar years.

National Exit Examination: Successful completion of the National Exit Examination (for domestic graduates).

Work Experience: Prior work experience is Not Mandatory. This opportunity is intended for graduates who demonstrate strong potential, learning agility, and a willingness to develop a career in the banking industry.

Interest in Interest Free Banking(Ethical Banking): Demonstrated interest in ethical practices, with a strong willingness to learn and develop knowledge of IFB products, and services through the Bank’s training and development programs.

Digital Competency: Basic proficiency in digital tools and applications, including MS Office, email, internet usage, and other technology-enabled work platforms.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in local languages is an added advantage. Ability to work effectively in teams and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues

Learning Agility and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, embrace change, and adapt to evolving business and technological environments

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Basic analytical, numerical, and critical-thinking abilities with a strong attention to detail.

Customer Orientation: Passion for customer service, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Personal Attributes: High integrity, positive attitude, commitment to continuous learning, and alignment with the Bank’s values and culture.

Work Location Flexibility: Demonstrated willingness and readiness to accept assignments in both city and outlying areas of the country.
