Position: Junior Brewing Operator
Required Education/Experience and Key Skills
- B.Sc. Degree in Food & Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields of study.
- Fresh Graduate.
Required Differentiating Competencies
- Excellent Communication skill
- Planned, focused, keen observer, and organized
- Excellent technical and process knowledge
Main Responsibilities
- Support the beer production process as per brewer instructions, from the entry of malt up to the connection of BBT to bottling, and keep all equipment and production area clean and tidy Strictly follow safety rules and use of recommended PPE.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Operate brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete all necessary records accurately and on time and record all irregularities in a logbook.
- Take respective samples as per brewer instruction.
- Handling of all waste as per Brewer instructions.
- Perform all tasks in an efficient, safe, and productive manner.
- Use and keep all PPE clean and available when necessary.
- Perform all CI P’s, per the Brewer’s work instructions.
- Consumption, sampling of beer, and using unprescribed medicaments during working time are strictly prohibited.
- Beer Production Operators Job description
- Physically receive material for brewing and filtration from the warehouse for 24hrs operations.
- Prepare, measure, and dose brewing and filtration additives as per the issued program from the brewer (section Heads).
- Safely and efficiently monitoring and operating from malt transfer to bright beer tank operations.
- Cleaning all the machinery and parts from the malt transfer unit to the bright beer tank and recording all activity on the logbook.
- Soaking all beer hoses after CIP and checking the cleanness of soaking bath water and recording on logbook/log sheets.
- Monitor CIP chemical levels and prepare with brewhouse helpers when it’s low.
- Handling of all chemicals plus additives with respective PPEs and according to safety rules.
- Perform any additional related responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
