Sparkle play school is a private school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that works to give a high quality and caring education service. As Cambridge system accredited school we operate to provide affordable and outstanding early year’s education service. We are looking for a vibrant and skilled teacher who can demonstrate active learning in a manner that is fun and creative.

Position: Main teacher (Self-contained teacher)

Education & Experience:

Minimum of Diploma in any field of study from a known college or university
0+years of experience
Prior knowledge of Cambridge system is preferable

Skills

Good command of English (spoken and Written) – minimum B2 level
Good knowledge of computer and AI use
Demonstrated supervisory skill is preferrable
Knowledge of other foreign languages (Arabic) is a plus. (preferable)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing Cambridge system lessons based on the scheme of work
Using creative and inspiring approach to deliver the lessons
Instilling a sense of order and discipline in the class room
Encouraging social interactions among children and improving their self esteem
Carryout active learning
Overseeing pupils overall performance and track progress
Anticipate the needs of the pupils to address them according to their needs
Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment
Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned to you by the supervisor.
