As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Position: Gastroenterology Nurse
Qualification:
- BSc in Nursing
- Minimum of two years experience in Gastroenterology Unit
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during GI procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies
- Prepare patients for procedures, including IV insertion, sedation monitoring and obtaining informed consent.
- Monitor patients pre-, intra- and post-procedure for any signs of complications.
- Educate patients on procedures,pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure care, and GI-related health conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedure outcomes.
- Sterilize and manage endoscopy equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
