The Hawassa Industrial Park Investors Association (“HIPIA”) is a non-profit-making organization that represents the investors working in the Hawassa Industrial Park in the city of Hawassa in Ethiopia.
It was incorporated in 2016 and has twenty two members from India, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, United States of America, Ethiopia, France, Belgium, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Among our members, we have three local and eighteen foreign suppliers to the European and American Textile and Apparel market.
Industrial Park Investors Association Vacancy:
Position: Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computer skills, including software relevant to engineering and operations.
- Well-organized with a strong attention to detail and a good CV document.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Supervisor to oversee operations in our facility. This role requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, along with the ability to lead and manage machine operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate machine operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Oversee daily operations and manage a team of machine operators.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to machine operations.
