Position 1: Copy Editor

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; excellent knowledge of grammar and punctuation; news savvy; an understanding of the law relating to publishing and journalism ethics; as well as meticulous attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills, familiarity with content management systems (CMS), and prior reporting experience are a plus.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in English, communications, journalism, creative writing, or a related field.
Two years’ experience in content/copy editing, preferably for publication as a journalist, in particular as a sub-editor with Strong writing and editing skills and prior experience working as a digital journalist are a plus.
Willingness to work late nights and irregular hours to meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position 2: Social Media Curator

Required Qualification:

Competent in writing and reading in English with a keen interest in journalism.
At least one year of experience in digital media with a commendable work ethics.
Must be tech-savvy with a passion for writing and storytelling.
Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator CS
Ability to work on a digital-first content development strategy.
Independent learner who takes full responsibility for growth and skill development.
Flexibility to irregular work hours, weekends and holidays.

Position 3: Reporter

Required Qualifications:

A strong passion for journalism and a desire to pursue a career in the field
Willingness to work late nights and irregular hours to cover breaking news, meet deadlines, and contribute to the fast-paced nature of journalism.
Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fresh graduate of journalism, law, Economics, English literature field of study from recognized university with a fluent command of English (both in spoken and written form) is required. A strong passion for journalism and a desire to pursue it as a career are essential qualities for this position.
Must be able to clearly convey information and have strong writing and excellent portfolio skills in English.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment and meet deadlines.
An eye for detail along with critical thinking.
