The United Insurance Company SC, better known as UNIC-ETHIOPIA, was established by 87 Ethiopians (individuals and enterprises) in November 1994 with an authorized capital of Br 25 million and an initial paid up capital of Br 8.073 million.
Position 1:Â Junior Underwriting/ Junior Claims Officer
Education: BA/BSC in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Engineering or related fields
- GPA 2.5 and above
- 2022 – 2025 graduate
- 8th, 10th & 12th grade national examination result
Experience: One year and above proven post qualification experience in any position.
Salary: As per the Company scale
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Junior Accountant
Education: BA in Accounting & Finance.
- GPA 3.0 and above
- 2025 graduate
- 8th, 10th & 12th grade national examination result
Experience: Zero.
Salary: As per the Company scale
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Cashier
Education: Diploma in Accounting or Banking & Insurance. COC Certificate.
Experience: Two years proven & relevant post qualification experience in a similar role.
Salary: As per the Company scale

Position 4: Programmer I
Education: BSC Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience: One year proven & relevant post qualification experience in a similar role.
Salary: As per the Company scale

Position 5: Programmer II
Education: BSC Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience: Three years proven & relevant post qualification experience in a similar role.
Salary: As per the Company scale

Position 6: Senior Programmer
Education: BSC Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience: Four years proven & relevant post qualification experience in a similar role.
Salary: As per the Company scale
