Fairteam Trading PLC (Prana Events) Job vacancy, Our Event Management Division, Prana Events, is a leading trade fair organizer and full-service event agency in Ethiopia. We specialize in creating high-value platforms, memorable experiences, and industry-shaping signature events.

The intern will work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact events. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual eager to learn and grow within Ethiopia’s fast-evolving event and trade show industry.

Position 1: Marketing Intern

Qualifications & Experience:

– BA Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or event-related roles (internships included).

Key Responsibilities

– Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for trade fairs and corporate events.
– Support content creation for social media, websites, promotional materials, and email marketing.
– Assist in onsite event activities, including branding setup, registration support, and customer engagement.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: HR Officer

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruitment, HR operations, or generalist roles.
  • Experience in event management, hospitality, or fast-paced environments is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment process and documentation.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials; conduct orientation.
  • Maintain updated employee files, attendance records, and HR databases.
  • Ensure confidentiality, proper filing, and availability of HR documents.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual performance appraisal processes, including KPI tracking.
  • Prepare routine HR reports for management.
  • Provide administrative support for training and development programs.
  • Assist the HR Manager with employee relations, disciplinary cases, and grievance handling.
  • Support employee engagement activities and promote positive workplace culture.
  • Monitor leave, attendance, and policy compliance across departments.
  • Assist with HR audits, compliance checks, and policy updates.
  • Provide payroll-related administrative support (as required).
  • Coordinate HR-related tasks with other departments and participate in HR planning meetings.
