Ethio Life Insurance S.C continued to be the ONLY specialized company in the life insurance business in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August, 2012 In consideration of the immense potentials and viability of the general insurance business emanating from the rapid economic growth of the country, shareholders of Ethio-Life were determined to expand the service of the company by including Non-life (general) insurance products into its business portfolio.
Ethio Life and General Insurance S.C. is seeking energetic, results-driven Field Sales Persons to accelerate the growth of Libam, our digital life insurance product. You will be fully deployed in the market to create awareness, engage potential customers, distribute promotional materials, and most importantly sell policies digitally
Position: Field Salesperson
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business fields preferred; not mandatory).
- Experience: Prior sales experience (financial services/FMCG/telecom/insurance) is an advantage, but strong entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Language: Proficiency in Amharic; additional local languages are a plus.
- Digital literacy: Comfortable using smartphones/apps for sales and reporting.

Contract & Performance
Contract term: 6 months (field deployment).
Performance requirement: Minimum 150 policies sold within a month (threshold KPI to remain on the job).
Performance reviews will be conducted periodically to track progress against targets.
Remuneration and Incentive
Gross Salary: ETB 10,000/Month
Mobile /Internet Allowance: ETB 300/Month
Performance Incentive: 10% of the premium from each policy sold. To be paid on monthly basis
