The Investment Analyst Management Trainee will be responsible for supporting the investment team in conducting market analysis, developing strategic investment plans, evaluating potential investments, and providing recommendations. The trainee will also compile reports and contribute to overall operational performance management to ensure alignment with corporate goals. Key responsibilities include:
Position: Junior Investment Analyst
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years’ experience in Investment analysis, Financial Modeling, Business development, Report writing and preparation. Or any similar roles
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Investment Performance:
- Achieving portfolio ROI above benchmark (e.g., S&P 500).
- Maintaining risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe Ratio > 1).
- Debt Management:
- Ensuring sustainable debt levels with a debt-to-equity ratio and interest coverage ratio > 3.
- Investor Relations:
- Achieving an 80%+ success rate in investment acquisition.
- Raising $2M with > 90% retention.
- Portfolio Oversight:
- Significant positive impact on portfolio performance.
- Risk Management:
- Minimizing portfolio volatility.
- Successfully implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Achieving 85%+ stakeholder satisfaction.
- Reducing debt in subsidiaries by 15% in one year.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Ensuring > 90% alignment with corporate goals.
- Business Document Review and Preparation:
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of business documents.
- Valuation Analysis and Exit Plans:
- Conducting thorough valuation analysis.
- Developing exit plans as required.
