Position: Procure to Pay (P2P)

Procure To Pay (PTP) Controller:

The PTP Controller is responsible and accountable to ensure that DHL Ethiopian Airlines Logistics Services S.C. complies in full with the internal and external accounting requirements defined by DPDHL policies and procedures, the fiscal and tax laws published in the country, and that proper accounting records are maintained and kept by the company.

In this Procure To Pay (PTP) Controller Position

To create and verify service providers and suppliers profile including credit limits and keep record of the files for payment and other references.
To verify and submit to SSC service providers and suppliers invoices provided for payment and reconcile with system data, where applicable, before settlement of the amounts.
To request and reconcile service providers and suppliers statement of accounts on quarterly basis as well as ensure proper communication with service providers and suppliers.
To verify periodically the proper reporting of sales and coordinate with Operational Heads to handle GP and Sick Files analysis.
To prepare and file documents and records in relation with all kinds of tax payments, including declaration of taxes to the government office on regular basis.
To prepare, scan, submit, and follow up payroll and other payment templates to SSC.
To ensure that all payment related transactions are accurately recorded in the general
ledger by SSC and ensure clearance of C999999 account.
To ensure proper safeguarding of the company physical assets and that they are physically checked once a year.
To review and prepare petty cash requests and vouchers so that same could be accounted properly.
To ensure that monthly petty cash reports are properly managed and certificates are reviewed and filed.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the CFO.

Knowledge:

Excellent understanding of the policies and procedures of DPDHL.
Excellent understanding of the various systems used by DPDHL such as CW1, Ishare, and other systems as may be used from time to time.
Excellent knowledge of the country applicable legal laws and procedures including the audit standards and procedures.

Computer Literate – All MS Programs
Ability to work in a team environment and transfer of knowledge to team members
Punctuality and time management skills are essential elements of this position.
Ability to work under extreme pressure with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
Ability to use initiative and be a self-starter
Creativity and problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding Customer relationship skills a necessity
Ability to use sound judgment, manage risk and anticipate impact on overall business.
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience
