Bilal Microfinance Institution S.C. is a full-fledge interest free microfinance institution established based on the NBE Directive No. MFI/32/2021 to provide sharia compliant and inclusive microfinance services that provide access to the community excluded from financial services due to interest.
Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Qualifications
- BA Degree or Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Islamic Finance, Corporate Governance, Leadership, or Risk Management are advantageous.
Experience and Required Competencies
- Minimum of 10 years general work experience, out of which 5 years in financial institutions.
- At least 4 years in a senior executive or strategic management position.
- Experience in Interest-Free/Islamic Finance is highly desirable.
- Sound understanding of Sharia principles and Sharia-compliant financial products.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
