Position: Accountant

Requirements and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and company financial policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits.
Coordinate with other departments for efficient financial operations.
