Position 1: Senior Accountant – IFRS Project

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Accounting/Management related fields plus a minimum of six (6) years relevant experience in IFRS project, financial planning and reporting related activities preferably in banking industry.

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for performing the implementation of the IFRS Project, financial planning and reporting activities. S/he will perform the preparation and monitoring of the Bank’s consolidated reporting; financial statement and budget.

Position 2: Senior –Conventional Banking Product Development Officer

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent fields plus a minimum of six (6) years’ in marketing and research experience.

Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for Conventional Banking products planning and execution, prioritizing product and customer requirements, work closely with various departments to ensure products meet customer satisfaction goals. Assist with ensuring product supports the Bank’s overall strategy and goals’/he continually collect and analyze relevant market and competitor information and identify threats and opportunities.

Position 3: Senior – Planning and Monitoring Officer

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Business Management/ Economics/Finance/Accounting or related field plus a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.

  • Masters in a Business related course (an added advantage)

Professional course in related fields(an added advantage)

Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for supporting planning and monitoring activities. S/he evaluates the execution of plans against set targets and recommend measures to keep the plan execution process on track.

Position 4: Principal – Tax Officer

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance and Economics plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ of relevant experience.

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection, reconciliation, and payment of all applicable taxes to the respective tax Office. S/he maintains up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, and ensures their proper application across all branches and business units, facilitates tax audits conducted by federal and regional tax authorities; prepares and provides all required documentation and responses during tax audits to ensure the bank’s position is well-represented. S/he develops and implements tax risk management strategies to safeguard the bank’s financial health.

Position 5: Principal – Operational Risk Management Officer

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in a business related field with concentration on financial services law and regulation plus a minimum of eight (8) years related compliance and/or operational risk experience in the financial service industry.

Job Summary

The Job holder is responsible for planning and coordinating the operational and asset & liability risk management; conducts continuous assessment of risk levels in relation to liquidity, market, and operational risks s/he is involved in developing system for the risk identification and measurement, proposes operational and asset & liability risk limits for various operational level.

Position 6: Branch Manager – Class IV Branch

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Business related fields plus a minimum of eight (8) years relevant banking experience out of which three (3) years in a supervisory position.

Trainings in domestic and international banking operations, credit management and leadership (an added advantage)

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations and code of practices of the bank are adhered to by subordinates. The jobholder leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence. S/he prepares and submits annual budget, operational plan and activity and progress reports. The jobholder participates in various community activities and keeps in close touch with the business community to promote services offered by the Bank.

Position 7: Branch Manager – Class II Branch

Qualification & Experience

BA Degree in Business related fields plus a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the banking sector of which three (3) years in a supervisory position.
