Zuri Capital is seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to support its investment advisory team. This short-term internship is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in sector research, data collection, and data interpretation across various industries.
Position: Research & Data Intern (Paid Internship)
Required Qualifications
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong interest in research, data analysis, and investment-related work.
- Basic understanding of market concepts and economic indicators.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, STAT Google Sheets, or other basic data tools.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with research methods and basic data interpretation techniques.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, openness to feedback and good communication skills.
Interns will work closely with the Analyst and contribute to ongoing research assignments that inform investment decisions and capital market-related engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect sector-specific data from primary and secondary sources.
- Conduct basic data cleaning, categorization, and organization.
- Summarize findings and prepare simple data interpretation notes.
- Assist the Analyst in preparing research briefs, market updates, and sector snapshots.
- Support database updates, document management, and research tracking.
- Participate in internal discussions and provide input on research observations.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability in all research tasks.
