Turk Gypsum Share Company invites qualified and honest professionals to apply for the following positions in its Finance Department.

Position 1: Cost and Budget Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly cost reports and cost-center statements.
- Value inventory, conduct stock counts, and reconcile inventory records.
- Analyze production variances and wastage.
- Prepare annual and monthly budgets and monitor budget performance.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance, with relevant experience.
- Experience in cost accounting and budget preparation.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and Ethiopian tax regulations.
- Cost-accounting experience in a manufacturing or mining company is an advantage.
Position 2: General Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed-asset records and calculate depreciation.
- Handle monthly and year-end closing, prepare financial statements, and prepare supporting documents for auditors.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance, with relevant experience.
- Experience in general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing or mining company is an advantage.
Work Location: Addis Ababa head office, with occasional travel to the Dejen factory and mining site.
Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Amharic and English.
