Position: Cashier Accountant
Education: B.A Degree in accounting and finance, Business Adminstration
Work experience: 1 year and above.
A Cashier Accountant manages daily financial transactions, ensures accurate cash handling, and maintains petty cash funds while performing accounting tasks like reconciliation and reporting.
The overall responsibilities of cashier/accountant are:
- Maintain petty cash Fund
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Collect and disburse cash
- Prepare payment vouchers
- Â Receive and issue materials
- Keep cash and stores under his/her custody in safe and secured manner
- Keep records of the movement of store
- Complete records periodically
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
