Position 1: Logistics & Customs Officer

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in logistics and customs operations.
  • Experience in technological items, manufacturing industries, or chemical industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs procedures and import/export regulations.
  • Proven experience in customs clearance finalization and documentation handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and logistics reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational requirements.

Position 2: HR & Administration Officer

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Law.
  • Experience: * 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Proven experience in a startup environment is highly preferred.
    • Deep knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Proclamation (1156/2019).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Amharic and English.
    • Ability to work independently and build systems from the ground up.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Personal Attributes: High integrity, organized, and capable of handling sensitive information.

Position 3: Administrative Assistant & Chinese Translator

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Language Proficiency: * Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 5 or above preferred, or equivalent work experience).
    • Excellent command of Amharic (Native) and English (Professional).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: * 2+ years of experience as a translator or admin assistant, preferably with Chinese manufacturing or construction companies in Ethiopia.
    • Experience working within an Industrial Park environment is a significant plus.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure during the startup phase.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
    • Strong cross-cultural communication skills and professional ethics.

Position 4: Senior Accountant

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, prior experience working within special economic zones is highly preferred, or in the solar energy field within Ethiopia.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and government financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
