Rohobot Home-Based Health Care Service is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized care plans, and continuously monitoring and improving the quality of our services.
Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Qualifications:
- Medicine with two years’ of work experience in hospital
- MSc In Nutritional Science is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans based on patient conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Identify gaps in care provider performance and enhance their capacity through various methods, including the development of training materials.
- Supervise healthcare providers both in-person and via phone, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Communicate with care providers every 3-5 days regarding patient care plans and deliver weekly reports to the patient’s contact person and Supervisor.
- Order laboratory tests as needed, based on patient cases.
- Improve care plans based on monthly patient assessments and document all results in weekly and monthly reports.
- Visit and assess stable patients every two weeks, with more frequent visits as necessary.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on time, along with quarterly plans.
- Attend to patient death care and prepare death certificates when necessary.
- Step in to perform procedures if a healthcare provider is unavailable.
- Develop health tips for communities based on organizational data, in collaboration with respective parties.
- Develop various training manuals for staff and healthcare providers.
- Prepare procedural tips for healthcare providers and work closely with all staff, especially health providers.
Location: Addis Ababa
Gross Salary with transportation Birr 21,000.00 (Twenty One Thousand Birr)
