Patchee Food Manufacturing PLC is a confectionery manufacturing company that mainly produces a variety of chocolates. The Accountant we are looking for plays a vital role in managing financial records and supporting the financial operations of the company.

Position: Junior Accountant

Required Skills and Experience:

1-2 years proven experience in an accounting position (in a factory is preferable).
Knowledge of Peachtree software application.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability in financial analysis and reporting.
Basic data entry and record-keeping skills.
Ability to prepare accurate financial records and reports.
Knowledge of essential financial statements.
Familiarity with full IFRS financial statements preparation and review.
Detail-oriented approach to financial documentation and analysis.
Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and files.
Capacity to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Amharic; additional languages are a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Adaptability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
