PAPDA Is a legally registered humanitarian, National non-governmental organization striving to improve the livelihood of poor pastoralists and agro-pastoralist communities in Ethiopia. PAPDA was established in June 2006 by people who hail from pastoralist areas of Oromia, Somali, and Afar regional States and is re registered (No 0355) with the Agency for Civil Society Organizations.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and has strong communication skills. Who will assist with various HR functions while learning about policies, compliance, and best practices in a dynamic workplace environment.
Position: HR Intern
Skills and qualifications required HR Intern:
- Minimum BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration and other related social science fields of study from a recognized higher education institution
- Only Graduates of 2015 or 2016 E.C
- 0-6 months of work experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Should have basic computer skills on how to use HRIS systems and Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HR interns play a crucial role in HR departments. They learn about HR functions, develop valuable skills, and contribute to the team’s success.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Duties and Responsibilities of HR Intern:
- Helps the HR Team find and hire new employees. Review resumes, schedule interviews, and assist with onboarding new hires.
- Support employees by handling their questions and concerns. help with employee issues, conflicts, and problems. Including company policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records, process paperwork, and create reports. • Scanning, copying & archiving of all HR related documents.
- Participate in training given by the organization
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database.
- Support payroll processing by gathering necessary data.
- Assists on HR best practices and assists in policy development.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
