Omo Bank invites interested and qualified applicants for the following job positions. Omo Microfinance is edging closer in its bid to transform into a bank. It is the third microfinance institution to make such a move, after Amhara and Oromia saving & credit institutions.
Omo was one of the five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia, along with Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit. These institutions account for 82.6pc of the total capital, 90pc of the savings, and 85.9pc of the credit provided in the microfinance market.
Position 1: Logistics and Supplies Officer I
Educational Qualification: BA degree in Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2 years of experience, of which 1 year as Junior Logistics and Supplies Officer I or in an equivalent position.
Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 2: KYC & Account Opening Officer I
Educational Qualification: BA degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of study.
Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry.

Position 3: KYC & Account Opening Officer II
Educational Qualification: MA/BA degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of study.
Experience: 2/3 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry.

Position 4: Trade Service Officer II
Educational Qualification: MA/BA degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Marketing Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2/3 years of relevant experience, of which 1 year in a trade service position in the banking industry.
Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 5: Principal Transport & Maintenance Officer
Educational Qualification: MA/BA degree in Transport Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Supply Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
Experience: 5/6 years of related work experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, transport administration, fuel management, contract management, or operations management, of which 2 years in senior officer positions.
Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 6: Manager, Procurement and Outsourcing Division
Educational Qualification: MA/BA degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of study.
Experience: 7/8 years of related work experience, of which 2 years in managerial/supervisory positions in the banking industry.
Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 7: Senior Director, Information Technology
Educational Qualification: MSc or BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related field.
Experience: 11/12 years of related work experience, of which 3 years in a managerial position at department level or equivalent in the banking industry.

Position 8: Chief Risk & Compliance Management Officer
Educational Qualification: MA/BA degree in Business Administration, Business Management, HRM, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or a related field of study.
Experience: 11/12 years of related work experience, of which 3 years in a managerial position at department level or equivalent in the banking industry.
