Position: Maintenance Worker
Qualifications:
- Spoken English and Amharic
- Polytechnic school graduates with TVET qualification preferred
- Previous exposure to similar maintenance works.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and building systems including roofing and flooring/ground works, electrical works, plumbing works on water and sewerage systems, painting works etc.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns and downtime
- Handling repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
- Responding to maintenance requests from various hospital departments
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including safety inspections according to checklists
- Keeping the cleanliness of machines ,equipment’s and tools
