Nikat Charitable Association Vacancy

The Nikat Charitable Association (NCA) is the only sex worker-led NGO dedicated to the welfare of female sex workers (FSWs) in the country. Over the years, in addition to being a strong advocate for FSWs, NCA has implemented a range of comprehensive programs focusing on the prevention of HIV/AIDS, the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights, economic empowerment, other health and social Services and advocacy and rights-based programming.

Position: DIC Counsellor (Female Only)

Qualifications:

BSc Degree in Clinical Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, or related fields
At least 1 year of counselling or related work experience
NGO experience is an advantage
Training in counselling or SRHR is preferable
Ability to work respectfully with vulnerable and marginalized female sex workers
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Fluent speaking and writing skills in Amharic and English are required
Additional local language skills are considered an asset and may provide an advantage among equally qualified candidates

Employment Type: Contract

Salary: ETB 30,000 Gross per Month
