Meba Microfinance Institution S.C, under Formation, is a microfinance institution registered by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) as a microfinance institution under formation.

Meba Micro finance Institution S.C. Under Formation has almost completed its preparation phase and is working towards finalizing the requirements of the NBE to commence a full-fledged operation. The head quarter of Meba MFI will be in Addis Ababa.

Position 1: Junior Trainee Customer Service Officer

Education

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Marketing, Management, Accounting, and other related fields

Experience

  • Zero years/two years’ experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Sufficient knowledge of company operation policies
  • Considerable knowledge of banking and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of financial and management principles
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Location: Wolaita Sodo, Adama

Position 2: Branch Cashier

Education

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Accounting, Management, Marketing, and other related fields

Experience

  • Zero years/two years’ experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Basic knowledge of records management
  • Basic computer application skills

Location: Wolaita Sodo, Adama

Position 3: Branch Accountant I

Education:

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 Accounting and Finance

Experience:

  • 2/3 years of relevant experience/two years in a similar position
  • Good Knowledge of micro finance Business
  • Good Knowledge of financial analyses methods and techniques
  • Good Knowledge of company financial policies NBE and FIC directives and regulations
  • Ability to compile and prepare financial reports
  • Basic Computer and Peachtree application skill

Location: Addis Ababa, Adama,Wolaita Sodo

Position 4: Senior Marketing, Planning And Business Development Officer

Education:   

  • MA/B.A Degree in Marketing, Business Administration and related field of studies.

  Experience:  

  • 2/4 years of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar position
  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Organization’s Strategic Plan;
  • Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others staff to achieve the organization goals;
  • Ability to mobilized fund from different sources.
  • Ability to work with different partners
  • Basic computer skills, project management software/SPSS/ STATA statically software;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 5: Branch Manager

Education

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Marketing, Management, Accounting, and other related fields

Experience

  • 2/4 years of relevant experience/two years in a similar or senior position
  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach
  • Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment
  • Ability to mobilize funds from different sources
  • Ability to work with different partners
  • Basic computer skills, excellent written communication skills
