Position: Demi Chef de Partie (Pastry)

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Food Preparation or Level III Certificate in Pastry and Bakery with COC certification.

Work Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
No supervisory experience required.

Required Skills

Strong pastry preparation, baking, and food presentation skills.
Good communication, creativity, and attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes and presentation standards.
Prepare ingredients through portioning, chopping, and proper storage.
Produce baked foods using appropriate baking and measuring equipment.
Ensure proper food portions, garnishing, and decorative presentation.
Monitor food quality, preparation quantities, and kitchen stock levels.
Maintain food safety records and ensure proper storage temperatures.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation activities.
Maintain clean workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Coordinate with Food and Beverage staff regarding menu specials and unavailable items.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa.
