Position: Sales Officer (Inside Sales – Air & Ocean)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: BA Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related business fields.
- Experience: 1–3 years in pricing and/or sales administration within a freight forwarding & logistics company.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent written & spoken English.
- Solid analytical, quoting, and reporting capability,
- Efficient user of quotation systems and MS Office tools.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills; professional interpersonal communication.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through under time pressure.
The Sales Officer will handle Air & Ocean (including Ground) inside sales for both ad-hoc and RFQ requests. The role ensures timely, accurate quotations aligned with our cost structures and commercial terms, while supporting revenue growth and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales enquiries and RFQs; prepare competitive quotes in line with pricing guidelines and terms & conditions.
- Coordinate with operations, pricing, and product teams to confirm feasibility, transit times, and cost elements.
- Maintain an active pipeline: follow up on quotations, convert opportunities, and update status reports/CRM.
- Support bids/tenders with data, rate builds, and document preparation.
- Build strong relationships with customers through responsive service and proactive communication.
- Produce weekly/monthly sales and quotation performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
