ILRI Internship: Information Communication & Technology Unit
The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit an intern in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia.
The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) works to improve people’s lives in low- and middle-income countries through livestock science that contributes to equitable and resilient livestock systems to deliver food systems transformation with climate and environmental benefits. It is the only one of 15 CGIAR research centers dedicated entirely to animal agriculture research for the developing world. Co-hosted by Kenya and Ethiopia, it has regional or country offices and projects in East, South and Southeast Asia as well as Central, East, Southern and West Africa. www.ilri.org
Position: ILRI Internship: Information Communication and Technology Unit – Ethiopia.
Position requirements:
The ideal candidate should: –
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate university degree program and is pursuing a bachelor’s in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Possess good command of the written and spoken English language.
Location: ILRI Addis Ababa – Ethiopia.
Duration: 3 months.
Terms of appointment
The internship at ILRI will offer:
- A monthly stipend to meet day-to-day living expenses.
- Medical insurance for the internship duration.
