Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.
Position: MicroWave Engineer
Education and Major
- BSc degree in telecom/ in Computer Engineering.
Professional Knowledge
- Configuration and Commissioning for Microwave Huawei product, including software parameter configuration. In addition, work on site surveying, hardware installation, and acceptance, knowledge of Microwave IDU/ODU sites equipment.
- Operation and Maintenance Microwave products, including Common-band/E-band/SDB/LH links, alarm monitor troubleshooting, OptiX RTN software upgrade,
- Remote and onsite technical support for customer support Microwave equipment,
- Design Microwave link budget, knowledge how to use iRiver tool and WebLCT.
- Provides customers with voice/data network technical support including problem escalation resolution and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction with equipment and service.
- Deliver Microwave Products, including site surveying, hardware installation, and acceptance
Business Skills
- Preferred Experience in similar position with Mobile Operator or Vendor
- Good command of English spoken and written
- Able to work under stress
- Must be a Team player as well as self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Project Experience
- Previous Experience with similar position in mobile operator or similar Project Years of experience
Language Skill: English
