Hope for Justice is a global non-profit organisation which aims to end human trafficking and modern slavery. It is active in the United Kingdom, United States, Cambodia, Norway, Australia, Ethiopia and Uganda and has its headquarters in Manchester, England.
Hope for Justice is a global charity founded in 2008, working across four continents and eight countries to bring an end to modern slavery by preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society.
Position: Junior Intern – 3 Month
Education: Recent graduate with a degree in accounting, or a related field.
Required Language skill;Â Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, including report writing and presentations
Skills:
 – Basic understanding of financial principles and practices.
– strong ability using computer scanner and related electronics materials
– Ability to use computer software
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The Junior Intern will assist the Finance department in various tasks and gaining practical experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations of the organization. This internship is ideal for recent graduates looking to develop their skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will assist with the following tasks:
Documentation Support:
 – Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
– Scanning financial documents
– Assist in the preparation and filing of financial reports and documentation for audits.
Data Entry:
– Enter financial data into accounting system, Business CentralÂ
Financial Reporting:
– Support the finance team in compiling monthly financial reports and summaries.
Support Finance Team
– Assist in the execution of departmental tasks as assigned.
Working Conditions
– The intern is expected to work [Specify Hours, e.g., 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday].
Other/general
Understand and uphold the standards outlined in the Hope for Justice Safeguarding policies, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with our work and reporting concerns if they do arise.
