Position: E-Learning English and History Teachers

Qualification and Requirement

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in English, History, Education, or related fields from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: 0 to 10 years (prior experience in e-learning or online teaching is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and engaging online lessons tailored to students in grades 7–12.
• Use effective communication methods and digital educational tools to support student learning outcomes.
• Connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, making learning meaningful and inspiring.
• Create an inclusive online learning environment that supports students from diverse backgrounds and abilities

An Ideal Candidate Should

• Have a passion for teaching and creating meaningful impact in education.
• Possess strong subject knowledge in either English or History for grades 7–12.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English and Amharic) – both verbal and written – with confidence in camera-facing delivery.
• Be able to teach effectively in both English and Amharic.
• Show adaptability to new tools, creativity in approach, and enthusiasm for online learning.
• Be self-driven, quick to learn, and committed to student success.

• E-Learning English Teacher (Grades 7–12)
• E-Learning History Teacher (Grades 9–12)

Location: On-site (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia)

Payment: Hourly

Rate: 2,000 ETB per hour
