Position 1: HVAC Technician โ€“ Mechanical Background

Experience Required: 5+ years
Employment Type: Full-time after the prohibition period

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HVAC Technician with a strong mechanical engineering background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related HVAC problems.
  • Service and maintain split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.
  • Diagnose system faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
  • Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
  • Read and interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure HVAC equipment operates efficiently.
  • Carry out ductwork, piping, insulation, and mechanical installation works.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other technicians on site.

Qualification Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • Strong mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Experience working with split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.

Position 2: Senior Accountant

Quantity: 1

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local requirements.
  • Lead and maintain the organizationโ€™s Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting system.
  • Customize charts of accounts, modules, and reporting structures for construction/engineering needs.
  • Handle tax, revenue, and customs compliance.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes, in accordance with Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority (ERCA) rules.
  • Liaise with ERCA and Customs on audits, clarifications, and compliance issues.
  • Interpret and apply changes in tax laws or customs regulations to business operations.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors.
  • Provide supporting schedules, documentation, and explanations during reviews.
  • Implement audit recommendations to strengthen finance processes.
  • Prepare financial forecasts.
  • Follow up and organize payments and payment collections.
  • Prepare a financial management framework.
  • Prepare financial status reports for management.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong accounting focus.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Masterโ€™s Degree (MBA or MSc in Accounting/Finance) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to supervise finance staff, assign work, review performance, and coach staff for skill development.
  • Ability to ensure high standards of accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Understanding of BOQs, variation orders, retention money, contract accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Understanding of subcontractor payments and certifications.
  • Experience supporting project managers and engineers financially.
  • Knowledge and experience in Tax Administration.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP) and IFRS.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, regulations, and tax documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical & Office Engineer with more than 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, project coordination, technical documentation, and office administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting mechanical engineering activities while effectively coordinating office operations, project documentation, procurement, reporting, and communication among project teams, consultants, contractors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical engineering activities for construction and engineering projects.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, technical documents, and equipment schedules.
  • Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required.
  • Prepare technical reports, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, materials, manpower, and site activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Assist with material selection, procurement, technical evaluations, and supplier coordination.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, contracts, correspondence, reports, and technical documents.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Support management with administrative, planning, and coordination activities.
  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action-point follow-ups.
  • Support cost control, quantity verification, material tracking, and project planning.

Position 4: Finance Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the overall general accounting, costing, and budgeting functions of the company.
  • Establish, operate, monitor, and evaluate financial processes related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare financial reports and cost analyses to support strategic decisions by management.
  • Oversee the preparation of general accounting records, costing, budgeting, and expenditure control systems.
  • Advise management on financial operations, budget utilization, and cost-control measures.
  • Report to the General Manager on all matters related to budgeting, accounting, costing, and financial performance.
  • Ensure the companyโ€™s cash flow is maintained to meet all financial obligations and commitments.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements and management information reports.
