Position 1: Logistics Assistant
Job requirements:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree
- Willingness to learn
- Initiative– must be willing and able to work independently, flexibly, and responsively.
- High levels of personal and professional integrity.
Reports directly to the Head of Logistics Responsibilities will include:
- Handling container stuffing photos
- Handling type writing
- Following container stuffing process with the assigned certificates/lot numbers to the correct client
- Checking empty containers have no defects & are fit for food grade
- Following bag mark process & assisting the warehouse team by providing printed jute bags, craft papers & grain pro bags on time.
- Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Position 2: Head of Warehouse
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in coffee, agricultural commodities, or export operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
- Familiarity with green coffee handling, grading, and export logistics is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet shipping deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in warehouse operations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with coffee exporters.
- Experience with warehouse management processes and procedures.
Position 3: Head of sustainability
Job requirements:
- Experience in acquiring and maintaining Rainforest Alliance certification
- Minimum 5 years working in sustainability, ideally within the coffee sector
- High levels of personal motivation + initiative
- Willingness to travel outside of Addis Ababa regularly
- Fluency in Amharic is required; proficiency in English is also required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a sustainability strategy in collaboration with the senior management
- Management of the Ama Commitment Charity.
- Monitor, report, and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability program implementations.
- Identify areas of inefficiency and unsustainable corporate practices.
- Manage certification process and procedures.
- Forge relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders and leverage these relationships towards conducting successful sustainability projects.
