East African National Distribution S.C. (EAND) is a subsidiary of East African Holding (— one of Ethiopia’s most established and diversified industrial conglomerates, with a legacy dating back to 1891.

As the exclusive distribution partner of Lemi National Cement and Dire Dawa National Cement, EAND plays a central role in Ethiopia’s construction and industrial development.

Beyond cement distribution, EAND also supplies coal and raw materials to cement plants, ensuring uninterrupted production and energy efficiency — positioning EAND as the backbone of Ethiopia’s construction supply chain.

Position 1: Accountant

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a distribution, logistics, or construction materials industry.

Experience:

Experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Tax Accountant

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics companies.
  • Certification: Additional tax training, such as IFRS or certification (MoR-recognized) is advantageous.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Tax Laws and MoR directives.
  • Proficiency in Peachtree, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Sales Operation Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,supply chain, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales coordination, logistics, or factory communication roles.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in operational reporting, data tracking, and process monitoring.
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Experience in distribution or related industries preferred.

Location: Lemi , North Shewa Zone of the Amhara Region

Position 4: Supply Chain Controller

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Supply Chain is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain control, financial monitoring, or operations analysis.
  • Strong background in supply chain finance, cost control, and performance reporting.
  • Experience in inventory auditing, procurement compliance, and logistics cost analysis.
  • Previous exposure to cement, construction materials, or FMCG industries is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Competence:

  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost control and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting, and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, ensuring timely reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for the supply chain function, aligning it with the company’s broader business goals.
  • Financial insight with experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainability.
