Deborah Foundation invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.

Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of health Education, and Policy Advocacy, It is Established in 2019.

Position 1: Junior Physiotherapist

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Valid physiotherapy license
  • Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental and motor disorders associated with intellectual disabilities.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and techniques for children with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions effectively.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage with children and their families.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children with intellectual disabilities.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Amharic and English language.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest research and practices in the field.

Salary and Benefit

Location: Deborah Village, Sheger City Administration Legetafo Legedadi Sub City or Deborah Head Quarter, Bole

Position 2: Executive Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role.
  • Proven proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Amharic and English (Afaan Oromo is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools, calendar management, and administrative technologies.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to excellent service.
