The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of water related equipment in the East African region. Founded in 1946, business activities are focused on seven principal product sectors – Water Pumps, Boreholes Solutions, Swimming Pools, Water Treatment, Generators, Solar Solutions and Irrigation.

The group is Kenyan based and operates through a network of Kenyan branches, Uganda, TanzaniaZambia, Rwanda, South Sudan, DRCZimbabwe and a partnership in Ethiopia

Position: Supply and Logistic Officer

Qualifications

  • The candidate should have the following qualifications: –
  • BA graduate in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics or Stores Management, Accounting or related discipline from a recognized University with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.75
  • Be proficient in basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Have a minimum of 2-year experience in local and or foreign purchasing and general logistics
  • Must be practical experience in Import processes which include documentation, bank and customs clearance
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in both written and spoken English.
  • Should be self-motivated, able to work under minimum supervision as well as be a team player.
  • Possession of grade 2 driving licence is a must.
