Position 1: Senior Programme Manager
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- A strong and credible leader, who delivers through others.
- A strong understanding of FCDO Programme and Project management (PPM) processes, procedures and best practice, including the PrOF.
- Experience of delivering complex programmes in an access-constrained and FCAS context.
- The resilience to manage multiple projects/programmes concurrently, with the ability to take the initiative and manage own workload.
- Proven financial and risk management knowledge, to support effective programme delivery.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, and challenge implementing partners when required.ย
- Effective line-management and commitment to personal development of team-members to build capability within the programme delivery profession.
- Expert written & spoken English
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Experience working in or on Sudan
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
- Completion of FCDOโs Practitioner Level Accreditation or evidence of practitioner-level project delivery qualifications (APMโs Project Management Qualification, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PMI PM Professional or others)
Salary: USD 2,198.28 (Base salary is subject to tax and other statutory deductions)
Position 2: Programme Officer
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Experience of managing projects / programmes with a focus on delivering results.
- Proven financial management capabilities.
- Proven experience of challenging stakeholders on a range of issues and holding them to account.
- Ability to take initiative and manage own workload.
- Experience of working at pace under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, flexibility and capability to work on a broad range of topics simultaneously.
- Strong IT capability including MS Excel and Word.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Experience of working in the International Development or Humanitarian sector.
- Arabic language skills.
- Prior experience working on or in Sudan.
- Formal Programme Management Qualifications (APM PMF, AGILE, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
Salary: USD 901.41 (Base salary is subject to tax and other statutory deductions)
