Developer BKMY Impex P.L.C is a subsidiary of HMY Holdings, invites qualified applicants for the following job positions.
We’re looking for a hands-on and highly organized HR Clerk to lead our hiring efforts and establish core HR processes. This is a crucial role for the business, as you’ll be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding the right people for each department. You will also
support the setup of basic HR operations as the company grows.
Position: HR Clerk
Requirements & Qualifications:
● Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
● 1–2 years’ experience in HR, recruiting, or office administration
● Proven ability to handle recruitment processes from start to finish
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills
● Excellent communication in Amharic and English
● Discreet, trustworthy, and approachable
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
● Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a startup-like environment
Key Responsibilities:
○ Lead recruitment of all key staff:
● Draft and post job ads across multiple channels
● Use personal network, referrals, and creative outreach to source high-quality
candidates
● Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews
● Coordinate interview scheduling with department leads or the GM
● Assist with final hiring decisions and offer letters
● Manage onboarding and orientation for all new hires
● Maintain organized employee records
● Assist in setting up basic HR systems and documentation (contracts, checklists, forms)
● Track attendance, leave, and help prepare payroll input data
● Monitor staff compliance with company policies and support a positive workplace culture
● Serve as the point person for employee questions, issues, or documentation needs
● Support any disciplinary or performance-related documentation and processes
● Escalate complex issues to the General Manager
